Raksha Bandhan- Raksha from acrimonious animalists

In a bizarre incident, PETA brings itself in its notorious, cunningness of hypocrisy, by sharing a new campaign featuring a cow asking people to “Go Leather free” this Raksha Bandhan. Sometimes I get confused with this PETA i.e. “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals”, with its literary meaning, as I eventually guess it would be “People for the Exasperated Treatment of Animals”.
PETA India is trying to bombard its fake agenda of protection of cows from so called unethical treatment from people, especially Hindu people, as it has chosen this time the festival of Raksha-Bandhan. In Hindu religion, Cow is being treated as ‘mother’ since thousands of years. It is actually infantile gesture to annunciate Hindus the importance and sacred feelings towards Cows. Either PETA India people are totally unaware about the festival of Raksha-Bandhan or they’re deliberately posturing their pseudo scientific and pseudo intellectual cum liberal narrative against the Indian Culture.

Basically, Raksha-Bandhan festival is a manifestation of sacred and deeply rooted emotional attachment feelings between sister and brother. In Hindu ideology, women are considered the most powerful than men in every aspect and segment of human life like emotions, strength, kindness, love etc. Goddess Durga is considered the source of Shakti. When a sister ties a Bandhan to her brother, actually she is giving her power of Virtue to him that will protect him from any mishap. This is the main idea or assumption behind this festival. This Bandhan will protect her brother i.e. Raksha is the Raksha-Bandhan. There is absolutely no scope for any animal and the so called unethical treatment of Cows.
In Hindu festivals, there is no scope for any animal torture or killing of them at all. In Indian culture, every God is being shown accompanied with some animal like Snake- Lord Shiva, Eagle (i.e. Garuda) – Lord Vishnu, Lion- Durga etc. This culture originally endorses the “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” theory not only related to all humans of the world but all type of animals also. These PETA India people are trying to perpetuate that Raksha-Bandhan Rakhi’s are being made up of Cow leather. They are horrendously misinterpreting the sacred festival of Raksha-Bandhan. It is absolutely hapless.

On the other side, they are totally silent on slaughtering of Cows widely in India which is illegal and unconstitutional also. Similarly, they are also silent capriciously on one particular community which allows the killings of animals. This cherry picking tactics of PETA India vis a vis PETA international is being exposed all over the world. The allegations regarding euthanizing- mercy killings of animals by PETA is one of the examples. Many celebrities who supports the PETA activities and who had been honored by PETA organization are mockingly carries leather bags, purses, endorses the non-vegetarian meals. This blunt hypocrisy is also side-lined by the PETA.
The sycophants of PETA ideology, which is anyhow not truly an ideology itself, will definitely condemn my views. These sycophants are actually struggling to discriminate stupidity against compassionate approach towards the animals. These people are even succeeded to reach at a level where they are opposing the clinical trials of vaccines over animals. This absurdity reveals the mental conditions of these so called animal lovers.
There should be crystal clear understanding between animal brutality and animal husbandry. You have not any objection over poultry farming, cattle breeding for beef industry,  massacre of animals to perform certain religious obligations but on the contrary you always have objections on ancient Indian Culture, its beliefs and rituals involving animal postures. Use of vegan ghee in Janmashtami is a perfect example of such type of thinking, whatever how mediocre it may be. They need to be opposed vehemently as they are not truly supporters of ethical treatment of animals but they are Hindu phobic. I think this propaganda should be opposed in every legal and ethical ways as there are number of Hindu festivals which may be on the hit list prepared by these so called liberals, basically intellectual hooligans, in near future.
